The location of this guest house was amazing, very close to everything you need whilst staying in Berat. The only reason The cobbled up hill path to get to the guest house along with the steps proved difficult with a baby. The outdoor table and chairs were a good idea, but the flies and wasps were just too much, so we had to eat inside on a few occasions. Nevertheless, 5 stars for the hospitality, although we had to use Google translate!

Berat was the first stop in our trip to albania and this place couldn't be better!
Amazing view, you can see Magdalem from your window. No need to worry about climbing many stairs with your stuff, clean rooms and the best homemade breakfast.
This is a family business and they are all very good and welcoming.

A great place to stay in Berat. Hosts were very very nice and we enjoyed our trip at its fullest. Accommodation was clean and had everything we needed, definitely coming back here

Named for the hard working woman of the house, who spoke no English, but was eloquent in Google Translate. She made us a welcome coffee on her flower- ful deck, set back from the quieter road on her guest house side of the river.... the side with the view of the busy 1000-Window UNESCO WHS, side. Lace pillows and beautiful furniture, made this a real home-stay. We overslept and regret not saying goodbye, as she had an early meeting before her teaching full-time job. But our coffee and buns were waitung on her deck. Behind her house is her terraced bird palace, with watchdog on duty. With all her urons in the fire, none were negkected.

Amazing place!!! Really glad I did my stay here, couldn't have been better! And the host was so nice, we even had an issue with finding a restaurant and she helped us with it. The best!

Meroli Guest house is in a very good location in Gorica's picturesque quarter and it has great views looking at Mangalem quarter.
The room is very clean and it has everything you need.
The breakfast is very traditional and prepared fresh at any time you need.
The host is very kind, giving advice for whatever we might need.
We definitely recommend staying here when visiting the amazing city of Berat!
