Data Doctors in San Marcos! What a find. I've been with them about 4 years now, couldn't be happier. Al is always there with cheerful help no matter how large or small my question. Al just built a new laptop for me and it is awesome! Thank you Data Doctors, so grateful!

Phenomenal service by Data Doctors! They recovered my old PC hard drive from 2006. I was able to retrieve thousands of old pictures and even more old music files! They were also very realistic about the expectations. They said it could take a couple weeks but they had it done in 3 days. I am absolutely blown away by what they were able to accomplish and really appreciate them being realistic with expectations. I would highly suggest Data Doctors for your data recovery services!

Excellent customer service. They helped me recover data from my 6TB external HD. Not only were they able to get all of my info back, but they put it on a hard drive that came with a beautiful case! I can't say enough about these guys and the professional service they rendered. I highly recommend them if you are in a data recovery bind!

I take classes at the Apple Store.During one session I asked the Instructor/Genius for assistance with a non-apple product." Apple's policy is to work Only on Apple products", he said.
The Apple instructor referred me to the DataDoctors in Vista. He said, "It is the number 1 place that I recommend because they do a great job."
As I entered the store in Vista their work area looked like a scientific laboratory. I met Al and Joe as they went right to work on my device. Within minutes, it was working properly. I could tell they enjoyed the challenge.
Since I was not born under an IT sun or moon, I totally appreciated their patience and kindness. They are highly skilled geniuses and entrepreneurs in their own right and are kindhearted as well. What an incredible combination! I was surprised there wasn't a line out the door!

We have used Data Doctors for years under their monthly agreement and found Al and the staff always supportive, direct and honest. Al has always taken my call, done live fixes through remote or when necessary, they have recovered our computers within 24 hours at their shop quickly and effectively. I recommend Al and his team. SCAMMERS!
Ask them straight up how much their service costs. They will refuse to tell you. They will tell you it's only 60 (no refunds) for an evaluation and then they will call after they check it out, but no matter what the problem is; they will tell you it's 280 or you can get a membership that adds up to 500.
You are better off at Geek Squad and that is sad. I thought they were the worst until my bf took my laptop here! They couldn't even tell him what they were going to do that was worth almost 300! Found a local guy who did everything perfect for less than 200 and no tricky talk when we asked about the price either.
I will tell everyone I know to stay away from these rip off con artists. Never leave your computer here!

Went it for a diagnosis on my PC about the power not turning on. It was 60 bucks right off the bat just for a call about whats wrong. I was told that my processor and motherboard weren't going to work because of a spill 2 years ago and then he proceeded to instantly talk about all the great new upgrades he was going to put into my computer without labor included. I figured I would try and figure it out myself and ordered a new power supply and my PC was up and running again. It felt like a scam that he was trying to get me to upgrade my PC without actually finding a problem. I fear for people that aren't as tech savvy to walk into this situation and agree with whatever the Data Doctors say for expensive prices and ridiculous labor costs. Find another PC repair shop.
